The RIRC Mako Scoop is a reproduction of a classically-styled design that was a favorite among many of the top drag teams of the 60's.
In the Late 6's and throughout the early 70's, this scoop design also made it's way onto the streets of America, where it became popular among hot rodders.
The Mako Scoop is made of high quality hand.-laid fiberglass with a smooth white gelcoat finish and is laid up in one piece.
It measures 13" wide at the front of the scoop and is 24" long end to end. The scoop opening measures 12" wide x 4.5" high at the center. The base of the scoop has a 6" wide x 16.5" long flat surface area for easy mounting to any carburator or injector application.
