The RIRC Hot Rod scoop is a natural for anyone with a gasser style rod or street machine. The scoop also looks fantastic on early hot rods with the scoop opening facing forward or backwards. The styling of the scoop is reminiscent of the neat hood hump Ford designed for the mid- 50's Thunderbird.
The Scoop is made of high quality hand-laid fiberglass with a smooth gelcoat finish. It measures 13" wide at the front of the scoop 23" long end to end and has a 1.5" mounting flange. The scoop opening measures 12" wide and 2.25" high at the center and it easily mounts to any fiberglass, steel or aluminum hood.
